Years ago, Michael Jenkins, who was the President of Dallas Summer Musicals at that time, would often invite me and Scott to stop by his office during opening night intermission. We'd visit for a short while, have refreshments, and chat about the show. As part of those cherished conversations, Michael would always proudly and enthusiastically say something like, Just wait for the second act. It's really going to be something!
And he was absolutely right; without fail, it always was. Similarly, I feel that same sense of anticipatory excitement today as we walk into this new era of life. We are experiencing an unprecedented global awakening taking place in our midst, and we each have a crucial part to play in this grand wonder-filled story during which good will inevitably triumph over evil. At such a time as this, I pray you remain steadfast and strong, vigilant and benevolent, patient and kind, healthy and happy as you remember and hold dear the knowledge that you are loved without measure and capable of great and mighty feats through Christ our Lord and Savior. May you be blessed beyond your wildest imaginations in 2021 as justice, freedom, and prosperity sweep across our nation and our individual lives. We love you guys, and wish for you an extremely happy and hope-filled New Year and beyond!!
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end.
Ephesians 3:20-21
